Itâs been 46 years this month since Roe v. Wade was decided and Planned Parenthood has been at the center of the debate around reproductive rights for much of that time. Beyond their involvement in the fight for a womanâs right to choose, PP provides a wide range of services to women and girls. Come hear about what they do from Amber Sollenberger. Amber is a reproductive health assistant at Planned Parenthood and a proud graduate of the UChicago Gender & Sexuality Studies program. She is an advocate for abortion access and currently studying to apply to nursing school, with the aim of becoming a sexual health educator.
The Feminist/Queer Praxis series, aimed at undergraduate audiences, brings artists, activists, scholars, and professionals to CSGS to talk about their work in the world as people committed to queer and feminist values and action.
