A panel discussion with co-coordinators and the exhibition curator of the Closeted/Out in the Quadrangles: A History of LGBTQ Life at the University of Chicago oral history and archive project of the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality (CSGS). Special guest, Timothy Stewart-Winter, AM'03 PhD'09, will help contextualize this exhibition within the history of Chicago's LGBTQ community. The event includes special access to the exhibition at Special Collections and an academic presentation with the annual LGBT Alumni celebration, where the Board of Directors election results and other news will be announced.

Timothy Stewart-Winter, AM'03 PhD'09, Assistant Professor of History at Rutgers University-Newark; author of Queer Clout: Chicago and the Making of Gay Politics (University of Pennsylvania Press, in press) and other research in in sexuality and gender studies
Lauren Stokes, AM'11 and PhD candidate in History (2016), Curator and Co-Coordinator of the CSGS exhibit and oral history project (2012-2015)
