The University of Chicago's Rainbow Graduation is the annual ceremony in which we honor the achievements of graduating students who identify as LGBTQIA+.
This year's intimate celebration for the Class of 2019 will be hosted on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 1:30 -4:30 pm at he William Eckhardt Research Center.
Doors: 1:30 pm
Ceremony: 2:00 pm
Reception: 3:30 â 4:30 pm
There is no fee to participate or attend as a guest.
Food will be served and business casual attire is appreciated. Graduates must be able to attend in order to receive their certificates and rainbow stoles.

Rainbow Graduation was founded by the student organization Queers & Associates. The first ceremony took place on June 5, 2008 at 5710 S. Woodlawn Ave. In 2009, the Office of LGBTQ Student Life began hosting the annual ceremonies. We look forward to celebrating the esteemed Class of 2019 with our community!
