Are you a PhD student who is planning to go on the academic job market? The norms and unpredictability of the market can leave applicants feeling confused and overwhelmed. This workshop will provide an overview of the application process, what you can do now to prepare, and provide the foundations for thinking about common concerns, such as âAre this position and institution a good fit for me?â and âHow should I present myself?â. Space will be provided for conversations on gender, sexuality, and the academic job market.
