Nov 30, 12:30 PM: New Campus Sexual Assault Guidelines – what you need to know

Last week, Betsy DeVos released a draft of new guidelines around Title IX and campus sexual assault. Shea Wolfe, Director of the Office for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Support for the University of Chicago will be giving a brief talk about the current state of the University of Chicago’s policy and Illinois state guidelines. She’ll also explain the process that the draft guidelines need to go through to become finalized and then will be available to answer your questions. Our Co-sponsor, Phoenix Survivor’s Alliance, will talk about the comment period and provide ideas for comments that students can send to the Department of Education. There will also be time for students to work on comments together.
