We are seeking a cadre of graduate students interested in receiving training on digital storytelling, social science research methods, reproductive and sexual health policy, and communications. Our goal is to work collaboratively with youth to elucidate how structural factors affect the freedom, sexuality, and health of youth on Chicago's South Side. Findings will be distributed through targeted policy communications.
Scholars will be selected via a competitive application process for a two-year program that will include a seminar series, faculty mentoring, youth partnering, and support for funded research projects. Scholars will receive a certificate in adolescent sexuality and health upon successful completion of the program.
Those interested in the program should contact sorzalli@ci3.uchicago.edu to receive an application.
